Design Lead for Women's Fashion

The Position:

We are seeking an experienced design lead to employ their creative vision in designing and developing considered womenswear collections across all categories. The ideal candidate will report directly to the Brand Director and be responsible for product ranges from initial concept through to final pre-production, including range boards, design, tech pack creation, trim and fabric selection, communication with factories, and pre-production prototype fittings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop monthly womenswear collections that align with the creative direction set by the Brand Director.
  • Take ownership of product ranges from inception to launch, ensuring alignment with the brand's overall strategy.
  • Incorporate brand identity into range designs for all categories, striking a balance between commercial and visionary product offerings.
  • Closely follow the established critical path, adhering strictly to meeting deadlines for design and production.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in a womenswear design position.
  • Demonstrated creative vision and a strong understanding of current and emerging market trends.
  • Excellent attention to detail, time management, organisational skills, and communication skills.
