Women's Wear Design Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Women's Wear Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating bold, functional, and fashionable designs that drive the brand forward.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the design of women's collections, creating original sketches and technical packs, sourcing cutting-edge fabrics and trims, evaluating designs against high standards of fit and function, and overseeing the development journey from concept to final product.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design women's collections that align with the brand identity
  • Create original sketches and CADs for production
  • Sources and develop new materials and finishes
  • Evaluate designs against quality standards
  • Oversee the development process

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of design and garment construction
  • Minimum 4 years experience in a womenswear design role
  • Exceptional Adobe CS skills
  • Highly organized with strong time management skills
  • Meticulous attention to detail

Working Relationships:

  • Collaborate closely with Creative Director and production teams
  • Partner with marketing for product storytelling
  • Work with e-commerce and retail teams for product launches

Other Functions:

  • Support the Creative Director as needed
  • Contribute to collaborations and special projects
  • Manage sample library
