Key Responsibilities:

  • Local pickup and delivery in the Cairns metro area using company-owned vehicles;
  • Loading and unloading a range of general, over-sized, blended, and long-length interstate freight on mezzanine floor trailers, linehaul trailers, local vehicles, and containers;
  • Manual handling;
  • Ensure yard/working areas are kept organized and tidy.

Requirements:

  • Hold a current MR Licence;
  • Hold a current Forklift Licence (LF);
  • Be able to manually handle freight up to 20kgs;
  • Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders;
  • Ability to work autonomously and unsupervised.
