About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Forklift Driver to join our team at Team Global Express. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for safely loading and unloading freight, as well as operating a forklift to move materials around the warehouse.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate a forklift to move materials around the warehouse, ensuring safe and efficient loading and unloading of freight.
  • Load and unload general freight of various sizes in a safe and compliant manner.
  • Be able to handle freight items manually and safely as required.
  • Accurately sort and load freight into designated dock areas and onto delivery vehicles with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Follow and comply with company procedures, including hazard, near miss and incident reporting processes.

Requirements

  • Current and valid Forklift License.
  • Previous experience in a similar role.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work autonomously where required.
  • Full rights to work in Australia.
  • High attention to safety.
