**Job Summary**

Stamford Hotels and Resorts is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Handyman to join our maintenance team on a part-time basis. As a Handyman, you will be responsible for completing various tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our hotel facilities.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • **Painting and Maintenance**: Complete painting tasks as directed by the Chief Engineer or Assistant Chief Engineer.
  • **Collaboration**: Work with other maintenance staff to complete general maintenance and painting tasks from the log in Opera.
  • **Guest Experience**: Ensure that all tasks are completed with minimal disturbance to guests and patrons of the hotel.
  • **Time Management**: Efficiently complete tasks within agreed timeframes.
  • **Additional Duties**: Perform any other duties as requested by the Assistant Chief Engineer or Chief Engineer.
  • **Health and Safety**: Complete all tasks within health and safety guidelines for staff and guests.

**Requirements:**

  • **Trade Qualification**: Trade qualification preferred but not essential.
  • **Prioritization**: Ability to manage conflicting priorities with a flexible and adaptable approach.
  • **Problem-Solving**: Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • **Attention to Detail**: An eye for detail and takes care and pride in their work.
  • **Customer Service**: Good customer service skills.
  • **Industry Passion**: Shares a passion for the hotel and hospitality industry.
