Senior Claims Management Executive

We are seeking a seasoned and strategic executive to assume the role of Chief Claims Management Officer. This key leadership position will inspire and lead a team of 460 professionals to strive for operational excellence through innovative use of digital technology.
The Chief Claims Management Officer will be responsible for overseeing the entire case management function, ensuring the effective operation and performance of the statutory workers compensation claims scheme. The ideal candidate will possess extensive insurance knowledge, excellent communication skills, and demonstrated success in managing large teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspire the team to adopt a growth mindset, embracing innovative approaches to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Develop and implement streamlined practices that reduce provisions, achieve improved claim durations, and deliver enhanced customer outcomes.
- Lead by example, fostering a culture of empathy and engagement within the team.
Requirements:
- Degree qualification
- Proven experience in managing complex consultations, negotiations, and partnership arrangements
- Comprehensive understanding of commercial, industrial, and political considerations impacting the business
