CG Animation Supervisor

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled CG Animation Supervisor to join our team at DNEG. As a key member of our animation team, you will be responsible for managing and supervising our animation team from juniors to leads.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise animation team members to ensure high-quality work
- Collaborate with directors and VFX Supervisors to develop character and creature performance
- Work closely with the Head of Animation to maintain DNEG's position as a leading player in live action VFX animation work
- Ensure continuity throughout the show by working closely with the animation team
- Support Animation Leads and assist with casting shots to the team when needed
- Be the point of contact for animation requests from other departments
Requirements
- Over 10 years of experience in CG animation, working on high-profile live action and full CG feature films
- Prior experience leading teams and delegating tasks when needed
- Experience working directly with clients and directors, comfortable submitting thoughts
- Ability to perform visual and analytical problem-solving in 3-dimensional space
- Experience problem-solving and predicting potential problems that may arise with assigned tasks
