About the Opportunity

We are seeking an ambitious and results-driven Assistant Team Leader to join our Corporate Traveller team in NSW. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for managing and growing your own portfolio while supporting the Business Leader in developing and retaining their team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service by adhering to our One Best Way Operational Excellence framework.
  • Demonstrate advanced knowledge of internal and customer-facing technology systems.
  • Assess, troubleshoot, and provide solutions to a range of scenarios.
  • Understand financial systems and processes.
  • Expertise in corporate travel product knowledge to deliver the best outcome for customers and CT.
Growth and Retention
  • Review customer travel programs and present options to drive financial and operational value.
  • Have an intimate knowledge of your customer portfolio.
  • Deliver a compelling customer experience to maximize retention and satisfaction.
  • Influence customers to drive results and opportunities.
  • Deep understanding of the customer's end-to-end journey.
  • Position the features and benefits of the CT product suite.
  • Understand key business drivers for CT and contribute to its success.
  • Strong track record of effective and timely execution.
Development
  • Self-motivated and proactive.
  • Open to learning and developing skills required to succeed.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of external competitor activity and market trends.
  • Set targets and goals and strive to achieve them.
  • Contribute to a peer-to-peer, collaborative, and continuous learning culture.
  • Strive for subject matter expertise.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years in the travel industry.
  • Leadership experience.
  • 2+ years on Sabre.
  • 6 months in Lumina is desired but not essential.
  • Exceptional multitasking ability.
  • To be a "people person" who values developing strong relationships.
  • Demonstrated ability to work within a multidisciplinary team.
  • A high level of attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication, listening, and presentation skills.
  • Tertiary education is highly regarded.
