Specialist Family Violence Practitioner

Join a specialist team in crisis management to provide vital support.
This role is for an experienced locum to join the Crisis Team and provide crucial assistance through to 19th December. You will focus on active engagement, managing a client waitlist to ensure people remain supported while waiting to be allocated to a case manager or ongoing services.
You'll work closely with the Allocations Coordinator to:
- Contact clients weekly by phone (with some walk-ins)
- Check in, manage risk and triage as needed
- Support clients to safely transition into ongoing services
About the role:
- Location: Footscray
- Type: Full-time contract
- Duration: Through to 19th December
