Project Coordinator Role

As a Project Coordinator, you will play a vital role in supporting our construction projects, ensuring their successful execution from inception to completion.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in planning, coordinating, and executing construction projects.
  • Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure project milestones are achieved.
  • Maintain project documentation, including contracts, permits, and project plans.
  • Monitor project timelines, budget, and resources to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Coordinate and facilitate project meetings, including preparing agendas, documenting minutes, and following up on action items.
  • Support procurement activities, including sourcing materials, obtaining quotes, and managing supplier relationships.
  • Perform regular site visits to monitor construction progress, identify potential issues, and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Prepare project reports, presentations, and other project-related documents as required.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of construction project management principles, methodologies, and industry practices.
  • Demonstrated experience or exposure to construction sites.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project).
  • A proactive and self-motivated attitude, with the ability to take initiative and solve problems independently.
