Job Description:

The Project Lead will be responsible for the safe and compliant management of projects for a major mining company located in the Pilbara. This role will involve deploying, adapting, and implementing end-to-end project management services across multiple sites.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Define project scopes, plan, estimate, and manage costs and schedule performance on projects.
  • Complete assigned projects in compliance with client expectations, company objectives, and all contractual documentation.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Procure necessary resources for assigned projects.
  • Establish and develop effective project teams.
  • Authorize construction planning, programming, and completion schedules.
  • Provide support to clients through the provision of standardized project management services.

Key Skills:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree qualification in Mechanical/Civil/Electrical Engineering or Construction/Project Management/Quantity Surveying or extensive proven project management experience.
  • Demonstrated experience of project management deliverables across multiple sites, preferably in the mining sector.
  • A high level of financial acumen with strong P&L performance delivery.
  • Strong tender/quote/bid preparation and evaluation knowledge.
  • Strong work ethics and an understanding of corporate requirements and processes.
  • Strong professional business acumen to ensure all client relationship improvement initiatives are professionally defined measured implemented and controlled.
  • High level of business case presentation and pro-active communication skills with the ability to professionally negotiate and achieve positive client relationship outcomes.
