Boilermaker Leadership Role

This is a key leadership role that requires a high level of technical expertise and excellent communication skills.

The ideal candidate will have a recognised Trade Qualification in Engineering Fabrication, +5 years' experience in a fabrication trade environment and knowledge of safe working procedures and process improvement techniques.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a crew of skilled tradespeople and provide guidance and support to ensure all work is completed safely and to the highest quality.
  • Assist in planning workshop production to maximise productivity gains and improve efficiencies.
  • Perform fabrication duties and welding techniques using GMAW, FCAW, and other relevant methods.
  • Provide training and mentoring to apprentices and production employees.
  • Solve problems, offer guidance and support, and source technical information as required.
Requirements:
  • A recognised Trade Qualification in Engineering Fabrication is essential.
  • +5 years' experience in a fabrication trade environment.
  • Knowledge of safe working procedures and process improvement techniques.
