**Electrical Engineering Technician**

**Tenure: Full-time Permanent**

**Comprehensive salary package from $70,000 p.a Plus superannuation**

**Position Summary**:
On behalf of our client, Global Skilled Employment Services is looking for a skilled and experienced **Electrical Engineer Technician** who has strong communication and time management skills, self-motivated and must have the ability to work independently and as a member of a team.

The position may also require skills in leading a small team or groups and ability to train new members of the team.

This is a full-time position which may involve weekend work and some unplanned hours of work where the need arises

**Required Skills and Experience**:

- Associate's degree in electrical engineering technology, or similar.
- A minimum of two years of experience as an electrical technician in a related industry.
- Extensive knowledge of electrical engineering designs, installations, maintenance, and repairs

**Tasks and duties include**:
This role will see you completing hands-on activities to fabricate, assemble, erect, test, maintain and / or repair equipment and components in line with industry best practices, company standards, policies, and procedures.

**Other skills required**:

- To adhere to Workplace Health & Safety and Quality procedures
- Ability to work within a team environment with the ability to take direction
- Good communications skills essential
- Demonstrated integrity and good presentation
- A professional work attitude
- The ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Superior attendance
- High focus & attention to detail
