About the Role

We are seeking an experienced General Manager to lead our Real Estate team in Brisbane. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing a small team of 5 staff, overseeing the rent roll of 1,500, and ensuring the smooth running of the office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a team of 5 staff and provide guidance and support to ensure the team's success
  • Oversee the rent roll of 1,500 and ensure timely and accurate rent receipting
  • Manage trust accounting and ensure compliance with relevant regulations
  • Recruit and onboard new staff members and provide training and development opportunities
  • Onboard new management clients and provide exceptional customer service
  • Handle complaints from landlords and tenants in a professional and timely manner
  • Hold regular meetings and 1:1s with the team to discuss progress and provide feedback
Requirements
  • Previous experience as a Head of Department, Team Leader, or Office Manager in Real Estate
  • Ability to manage and lead a team, with a proven track record of success
  • Demonstrated ability to update, develop, implement, and evaluate policies, procedures, and programs
  • Experience with QCAT, team management, and conflict resolution
  • Current QLD Certificate of Registration
