Psychology Opportunities in Tasmania

We are seeking experienced and skilled Psychologists to fill a range of roles across Southern, Northern and Northwest regions of Tasmania.

The Tasmanian Health Service aims to provide high-quality psychological services to clients through the establishment of a pool of registered psychologists who can work at short notice.

Applicants should be registered with the Psychology Board of Australia and have some experience working with children as required by certain vacancies.

Interested persons can submit their application for psychology duties on a fixed-term basis.

Applications will remain open until June 30, 2026, and will be reviewed regularly.

  • Provide evidence of an Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) Level 8 qualification in Psychology
  • Registration with the Psychology Board of Australia is essential
  • Working knowledge of psychological theories and principles is necessary
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills are also required

The successful applicant will have the opportunity to work in various settings and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
