Role Overview

The Club Membership Growth Manager at Fitness First's Victoria Gardens club will be responsible for leading the member experience team, driving new sales targets, and achieving member retention budgets. This role requires a motivational leader who can mentor their team and achieve exceptional customer service standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the daily workflow of the member support consultants (MSC) team to ensure the club reaches monthly sales targets.
  • Achieve individual monthly and annual sales targets to contribute to the team's success.
  • Create a structure to ensure the MSC team achieves their daily minimum performance criteria.
  • Assist with delivering sales training to develop the MSC team.
  • Achieve member retention and growth budgets on a monthly basis.
  • Respond to enquiries via phone, email, or in person within 24 hours.
  • Support the Club and Regional Manager in developing initiatives to drive membership growth.
Requirements
  • Demonstrate proven sales and customer service experience with a clear ability to hit KPIs.
  • Have an understanding of the cycle of selling, including various sales techniques like up-selling and cross-selling.
  • Prior experience of managing the customer journey to achieve successful customer outcomes is highly regarded.
  • Previous experience of managing and mentoring a team.
  • Ability to set and motivate others towards a goal.
  • Experience using business computer systems.
  • Current First Aid and CPR certificates.
