We are seeking an experienced Senior Registered Nurse to join our established nursing team in the Emergency Department. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong clinical expertise, effective communication skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality patient care.
The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, be able to work effectively in a team environment, and demonstrate a high level of written and verbal communication, interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities:- Support and mentor the nursing team with planning, assessment, implementation, and evaluation of excellent standard evidence-based person-centered patient care.
- Ensure adherence to professional standards, legislative requirements, and hospital policies and processes.
- Foster a learning environment through clinical presentations to support the nursing team with their professional development and maintaining own professional learning and continuous professional development.
- Contribute to inter-disciplinary team efforts to provide exceptional patient care by actively participating in departmental and hospital quality improvements and projects.
The successful candidate will have current registration, a minimum of 3-5 years' experience in ED with strong clinical experience and knowledge in resuscitation, triage, and team leadership roles, and postgraduate certification in emergency nursing or working towards it.
