Family Community Support Specialist

Be innovative in supporting kinship care communities through regular support groups, events and activities.
- Organise, coordinate and facilitate community outreach programs to better serve the needs of kinship carers.
- Provide information and advice to kinship cares through face-to-face interventions or phone support, including referrals to relevant services as required.
- Engage with formal and informal kinship carers to address vulnerabilities and respond to their needs effectively.
This role involves networking with key stakeholders to build connections and promote Berry Street's Kinship Care service for new referrals.
A Diploma qualification in Social Work, Youth Work or related discipline is essential for this position.
