Job Title: Art Educator Position

We are seeking a qualified and experienced educator to join our team as an Art Educator. This is a temporary part-time position that will commence on 27 January 2026 and conclude on 18 December 2026.

About the Role

The successful applicant will be responsible for teaching Creative Arts, Music, Dance, and Drama to students. The role of Art Educator exists to support growth in faith and improvement in learning so that students may reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create and maintain an orderly, safe and supportive learning environment based on the principles of Positive Behaviour for Learning (PB4L).
  • Plan for and implement effective teaching and learning across all Key Learning Areas.
  • Apply knowledge of the diverse needs of students to support their full participation in learning.
  • Implement effective teaching strategies in Literacy and Numeracy.
  • Analyse data to inform student learning and make adjustments accordingly.
Essential Selection Criteria
  • Demonstrate a deep understanding and commitment to the mission and purpose of the Catholic School within the broader Catholic Church.
  • Be able to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Have strong organisational skills and be able to prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Be accredited with National Education Standards Authority (NESA) to teach in NSW.
  • Hold a Working with Children Clearance.
Desirable Selection Criteria
  • Experience in the delivery of Creative Arts syllabus including Visual Arts, Music, Dance and Drama.
  • Qualifications in Primary K–6 teaching and Religious Education.
