Executive Manager Organisational Development

The Shire of Exmouth seeks a strategic leader to shape and deliver initiatives that drive organisational effectiveness, efficiency, and culture. This key member of the executive leadership team is responsible for leading corporate planning, optimising systems through data-driven insights, and managing performance frameworks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Planning & Business Improvement: Lead in driving business growth, optimise systems through data analysis, and develop strategies for improved performance.
  • Change & Performance Management: Champion change initiatives, design performance management systems, and guide KPI development.
  • Talent & Culture Development: Drive leadership development, succession planning, and foster a values-based culture.
  • Learning & Development: Deliver impactful training programs and evolve leadership capabilities.
  • Workplace Health & Safety: Oversee WHS compliance and continuous safety improvement.
  • Information & Records Management: Lead ICT transformation and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Marketing & Communication: Develop integrated marketing strategies and manage branding.
  • Finance & Governance: Manage budgets and provide governance support.
  • Collaboration & Engagement: Build strong internal and external partnerships to align with business objectives.

Requirements include;

  • Experienced human resources manager
  • Strategic thinker with proven change-management experience
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Commitment to workplace safety and environmental awareness
