Job Title

We are seeking a motivated and energetic Factory Hand/Industrial Cleaner to join our dynamic team in Burleigh Heads.

  • Operating basic machinery such as pressure washers, electric-assisted lifting equipment and soak tanks.
  • Organising and storing items in our warehouse by hand, following the system in place to ensure everything is in order.
  • Working independently, following instructions carefully and thoroughly to maintain high-quality standards and ensure safety.
  • Housekeeping of the factory including cleaning shelves, tidying up, sweeping and mopping floors, washing/hanging out clothes, ensuring that certain items are always clean, available and adequate stock plus general organisational tasks.
  • Keeping management informed of any important matters relating to the factory such as outcome of any arranged customer pick ups or drop offs that may occasionally occur, equipment condition, missing or damaged items, and anything crucial to the smooth operation of the factory.
Requirements
  • Self-Starter: Proactive and able to work unsupervised, take pride in your work and maintain a high standard of quality.
  • Quick Learner: Can pick up new tasks and machinery operation easily.
  • Fit and Reliable: Physically able to handle lifting items (1-18kg), standing for your shift, and staying on top of repetitive tasks.
  • Safety Conscious: Understands the importance of safety and can manage their time effectively and keep their mind on the job to stay safe and meet demands of a busy environment.
  • Transport: Valid driver's licence and own reliable transport is essential.
