This Trainee role offers a unique opportunity to develop skills and expertise in customer service, working with a leading government agency. As a key member of our team, you will provide exceptional customer experiences, building strong relationships with clients and colleagues alike.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide timely, accurate, and efficient services, consistent with the agency's vision, mission, and values.
  • Undertake administrative tasks to support service delivery as required.
  • Build strong customer relationships by establishing rapport, recognizing diverse needs, motivations, and preferences, and adapting your approach for a positive and personalized experience.
  • Utilize records, information, and knowledge management systems effectively to inform decision-making and optimize work practices.
  • Serve customers effectively by applying a clear understanding of relevant policies and procedures to deliver the right services through the appropriate channels.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  1. Ability to provide high-quality customer service in a fast-paced environment.
  2. Excellent verbal and written communication, as well as interpersonal skills.
  3. Commitment to completing the full term of the traineeship and meeting study requirements.
  4. Intermediate technology experience using computers, telephones, and software packages.
  5. Strong time management skills, with ability to prioritize duties and multitask.
  6. Confidence to handle challenging situations and resolve enquiries calmly and focusedly.
  7. Flexibility and adaptability during times of change to contribute to team strategic goals.
  8. Pass a National Police Check.
  9. Commitment to formal and 'on-the-job' training.
  10. Can-do attitude and enthusiasm for learning.
