
Customer Service and Training Specialist

This Trainee role offers a unique opportunity to develop skills and expertise in customer service, working with a leading government agency. As a key member of our team, you will provide exceptional customer experiences, building strong relationships with clients and colleagues alike.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide timely, accurate, and efficient services, consistent with the agency's vision, mission, and values.
- Undertake administrative tasks to support service delivery as required.
- Build strong customer relationships by establishing rapport, recognizing diverse needs, motivations, and preferences, and adapting your approach for a positive and personalized experience.
- Utilize records, information, and knowledge management systems effectively to inform decision-making and optimize work practices.
- Serve customers effectively by applying a clear understanding of relevant policies and procedures to deliver the right services through the appropriate channels.
- Ability to provide high-quality customer service in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, as well as interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to completing the full term of the traineeship and meeting study requirements.
- Intermediate technology experience using computers, telephones, and software packages.
- Strong time management skills, with ability to prioritize duties and multitask.
- Confidence to handle challenging situations and resolve enquiries calmly and focusedly.
- Flexibility and adaptability during times of change to contribute to team strategic goals.
- Pass a National Police Check.
- Commitment to formal and 'on-the-job' training.
- Can-do attitude and enthusiasm for learning.
