Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Duty Manager to join our team. As a Duty Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of hospitality professionals and delivering exceptional guest experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and Develop a Team: Lead, coach, and develop a team of committed hospitality professionals to deliver a unique and exceptional guest experience.
- Deliver Exceptional Guest Experiences: Deliver exceptional guest experiences by setting high standards and finding new ways to exceed them.
- Front Office Operations: Ensure the front office team delivers a great service, professional attention, and personal recognition to our guests.
- Guest Engagement: Ensure guests are greeted upon arrival and make time to engage with guests. Respond appropriately to guest complaints, solicit feedback, and build relationships to drive continuous improvement in guest satisfaction.
- Critical Situations: Be the first point of contact for any critical emergency situations and resolve issues promptly.
Requirements
- Education: Minimum Diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: 2 years' front desk/guest service leader experience.
- Skills: Basic mathematics skills, fluent in English, both spoken and written. Additional languages well regarded. Excellent communication, problem-solving, reasoning, and motivational skills.
- Physical Demands: Long periods of standing in the front desk areas and occasional lifting of heavy items.
- Knowledge: Working knowledge of hotel property management systems like Opera beneficial.
- Availability: Willingness to work evenings and weekends.
