Heavy Vehicle Technician Role Overview

A skilled professional is required to work on a range of heavy goods vehicles, gain manufacturer training, and progress their career in a busy commercial vehicle workshop.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Service and repair heavy goods vehicles to industry standards.
  • Carry out fault diagnostics using the latest equipment.
  • Maintain accurate records of all work completed and parts used.
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Level 3 qualification in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (or equivalent).
  • Proven experience working on heavy goods vehicles in a workshop or fleet setting.
  • Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
  • Full UK driving licence.
Additional Desirable Skills:
  • Class 1 or 2 licence.
  • Experience with a variety of heavy goods vehicle manufacturers.
