Psychiatric Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Psychiatric Enrolled Nurse to join our Continuing Care Team at St Vincent's Health Australia. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing specialized treatment and ongoing support to consumers with a lived experience of mental illness.
Key Responsibilities- Actively uphold a culture of hope by using optimistic language, supporting individuals, and celebrating their recovery efforts.
- Provide medication services to consumers within the scope of practice, including metabolic monitoring and physical interventions where necessary.
- Under the direction and supervision of the Senior Nurse, monitor physical and mental health status and provide delegated interventions to a defined caseload during a Continuing Care Team case manager's period of leave.
- A minimum of five years post-registration experience as a Psychiatric Enrolled Nurse.
- Commitment to work collaboratively and effectively as part of the multidisciplinary team with multiple key stakeholders both internal and external of the organization.
- Demonstrated knowledge, experience, and ability in psychiatric enrolled nursing in a diverse range of settings.
- Current National Criminal History Check, or willingness to obtain.
