Effective Fleet Management Professional

Country Fire Authority is seeking a skilled Transport Fleet Manager to oversee the management of our transport fleet.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage contract negotiations with external fleet providers
- Provide guidance on transport fleet matters to internal stakeholders
- Apply and interpret relevant policies and procedures
- Develop, maintain and manage business rules, processes and systems
- Support Regional and District Fleet Focal Points
- Maintain fleet databases (SAP, RMS)
- Manage vehicle acquisition, maintenance and disposal
- Coordinate annual vehicle registrations and manage fuel cards and toll accounts
- Strong organisational and stakeholder management skills
- Experience in fleet management, particularly with Victorian State Government Vehicle Policy and VicRoads systems is desirable
- Excellent decision-making and negotiation skills
- Proven experience in document control and managing contracts
- Strong computer skills, especially in Microsoft Word and Excel
- High-level written and verbal communication skills
