About the Role

This is a Permanent Full-Time position within a Corporate Services department.

As the Fleet Officer, you will be responsible for the management of all RCH fleet vehicles and the efficient operation and use of fleet cars. Your role will include managing vehicle compliance, infringements process, record keeping, and processing of related Car Fleet invoicing.

You will oversee all aspects of fleet management, including coordinating cleaning of vehicles, monitoring and tracking vehicle mileage, implementing required actions to ensure effective Fleet Utilisation, and managing vehicle insurance claims.

Your responsibilities will also include maintaining motor vehicle databases to ensure accuracy and currency, identifying opportunities to redesign layout to improve access to information and reporting.

You will identify private use of fleet vehicles and enter information into spreadsheets for FBT tracking purposes, operate CITILINK accounts, update records in data bases, and track and follow up FBT obligations for each Executive lease holder.

You will play a lead role in ensuring that contractors engaged by the organization are providing services of high quality and deliver value for money while meeting statutory, mandatory, and organizational policies.

  • Maintain accurate records of fleet usage and operations.
  • Identify areas for improvement in fleet management processes.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize fleet utilization.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage relationships with key internal and external stakeholders to ensure optimal fleet car use.
  • Communicate and liaise with departments and stakeholders, reporting on issues affecting fleet service.
  • Provide support and advice to internal stakeholders and clients on fleet requirements and/or issues.

A background in logistics or transportation would be advantageous, but not essential. The successful candidate will be able to adapt quickly to new situations and technologies, with a flexible and proactive approach to problem-solving.
