As an Inclusion and Support Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in fostering academic excellence and promoting student success. Your primary responsibility will be to provide targeted interventions, co-teach with colleagues, and engage in case management to ensure students receive the support they need to thrive.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and delivering effective lesson plans that cater to diverse learning needs
  • Collaborating with teachers and staff to develop and implement inclusive classroom practices
  • Providing one-on-one support and small-group instruction to students who require additional help

In addition to your teaching expertise, you will also be responsible for:

  • Coaching and mentoring colleagues to improve their practice and contribute to school-wide initiatives
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with parents and carers to promote student engagement and well-being

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • Relevant teaching qualification (e.g., Bachelor of Education or Master of Teaching)
  • Current full registration or current provisional registration with eligibility for full registration as a teacher in Queensland
  • Strong understanding of differentiated instruction and inclusive classroom practices
  • Ability to design and deliver engaging and challenging lessons for diverse learners
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
