As a Senior Operations Leader at Coles Distribution Centres, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless movement of quality products through our supply chain.

Your primary responsibility will be to lead and develop a team of 25-30 team members, focusing on delivering exceptional operational output while prioritizing safety and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Safety Management: Ensure a safe working environment by identifying and mitigating potential hazards, and managing the reporting and logging of incidents.
  • Team Development: Coach, support, and empower your team to meet and exceed targets, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Operational Efficiency: Plan and allocate workload to maximize efficiency, ensure timely delivery, and meet commercial budget and cost management principles.
  • Communication: Foster effective communication with all levels of the business, ensuring seamless collaboration and information exchange.
About You and Your Skills

To succeed in this role, you will need to demonstrate strong leadership skills, including:

  • Flexibility to work a rotating roster as the DC operates 7 days a week for our customers.
  • The ability to energize, empower, and support your team in meeting and exceeding set targets.
  • A proven track record of successfully leading, engaging, and developing teams.
  • Effective planning and allocation of workload to maximize efficiency and delivery to deadline.
  • Strong commercial acumen and ability to meet budget and cost management principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
What We Offer

Coles offers a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a salary, we offer:
