Job Title: Facility Assets Coordinator

 

The Facility Assets Coordinator plays a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient management of assets across the organisation.

This position requires a strategic thinker with effective leadership skills who can foster collaboration and drive a goal-oriented team culture.

 

About This Role
  • Lead the asset management function within the division, providing technical and compliance advice.
  • Integrate asset management principles across the organisation.

 

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure the safety and regulatory compliance of our building assets.
  • Develop and implement Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Assist with long-term asset management planning.
  • Identify opportunities for operational efficiency.
  • Manage contracts.
  • Report on service delivery.
  • Maintain accountability for budget management.

 

Requirements
  • Diploma in Building Studies, Project Management, or Management, or currently pursuing one of these qualifications.
  • Trade Certificate (Cert 3) in a Building Discipline (Carpentry, Electrical, Plumbing, etc.).
  • Extensive leadership experience in managing facilities and contractors.
  • Strong skills in creating work schedules, plans, and safety procedures.
  • Experience in preparing technical specifications, managing tenders, and overseeing contracts.
  • Ability to prepare business cases and manage operational budgets effectively.
