Teaching Opportunity

We are seeking a teaching professional to fill a part-time opportunity in our School of Medicine at our Fremantle campus.

As Deputy Lead for the Clinical Communication and Professionalism (CCP) Domain, you will play a critical role in the ongoing development, coordination, and implementation of the CCP curriculum in the national MD program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the National CCP Domain Lead in the ongoing development, coordination, and implementation of the CCP domain curriculum in the national MD program.
  • Lead the Fremantle CCP Domain in implementing the CCP Domain Fremantle MD Program, including all CCP academic staff and supporting CCP academics in managing and training clinical skills medical educators and tutors.
  • Work with other Domain Leads, Assessment and Medical Education Unit teams, and academic staff across the MD program to ensure CCP learning objectives are suitably assessed and integrated with other domains where appropriate.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience
  • Possession of a medical degree registrable with relevant authorities and one of a Fellowship qualification in Medicine, Health or Medical Education OR a PhD, OR equivalent experience and standing in a relevant discipline area of more than 5 years.
  • Experience in curriculum design, delivery, and/or assessment in medical education, preferably in the health context and in a tertiary setting.
  • Well-developed leadership, organisation, and project management skills, with experience in organising and running clinical and OSCE examinations desirable.
