Cockburn Aquatic and Recreation Centre (ARC) is the City of Cockburn's leading edge recreation and aquatic centre, unlike anything else in Perth. We are a one stop hub catering to our community and residents from across Perth's southern metropolitan region, providing sport, fitness and wellbeing facilities to encourage and educate people to become more active more often. The Position

The Swim ARCademy team is looking for dynamic, enthusiastic swimming instructors to deliver our innovative learn to swim program. Applicants must possess a passion for aquatic education, along with exceptional customer service skills. The Swim ARCademy program has a unique vision of swim for fun, fitness and competition through the development of each individual skill to the highest possible standard. This is an inclusive program with dedicated teaching pools catering to all community members.

These positions are being offered on a casual basis and hours of work may include early mornings, late evenings and weekends.

To become part of our amazing team you will have:

• Experience in delivering quality aquatic instruction, teaching techniques and lesson planning and student assessment.
• Skills in managing students of various ages and abilities in an aquatic learning environment.
• Knowledge of pool supervision requirements and water safety.
• Current Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety qualifications.
• Current Teacher of Infant and Preschool aquatics or willingness to attain.
• Current Working with Children Check and National Police Clearance
• Current First Aid and CPR certificate.
• A friendly and engaging nature.

Pay Rate: $37.57 per hour including 25% casual loading
