Occupational rehabilitation plays a vital role in helping individuals recover from injuries, illnesses, or trauma. We are seeking an experienced Rehabilitation Counsellor/Psychologist to join our team and work with Australian Defence Force veterans.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Supporting veterans in achieving their rehabilitation goals and readiness for civilian life.
- Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to facilitate recovery and return to function.
- Developing and implementing tailored rehabilitation plans for clients.
- Performing assessments and services such as Vocational Assessments, Job Readiness, Initial Needs Assessments, and Vocational Counselling.
- Working flexibly across offices and from home.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Current unrestricted registration or membership with the relevant industry body (AHPRA or ASORC).
- Tertiary qualifications in Rehabilitation Counselling or Psychology (Fully registered or Provisional Psychologists with external supervision).
- Strong clinical reasoning and stakeholder engagement skills.
- A genuine passion for helping people rehabilitate and thrive.
- Occupational rehabilitation experience is essential.
- Experience working with Military, Veteran, or Emergency Services clients is highly desirable.
