Australian Army Public Relations Professional

The role of a Public Relations Officer in the Australian Army involves building and maintaining relationships with the media, key stakeholders and the broader community to promote the Army's image and reputation.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement public relations strategies to achieve organisational objectives.
- Manage a team of public relations practitioners who will create and disseminate press releases, videos, and social media content to promote the Army's brand and reputation.
- Maintain strong relationships with senior command staff to develop communication strategies, manage media relations, and address issues as they arise.
- Australian citizenship is required, with a degree in PR, Corporate Communications, or Journalism and at least three years' experience in a similar role.
- Candidates must be able to pass the standard ADF physical fitness test and undergo background checks.
This position requires excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to think strategically and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
