Seeking a strategic Business Transformation Expert for a 12-month challenge with potential extensions up to 3 years. The successful candidate will be responsible for bridging program and business operations, defining benefits, assessing progress, and driving improvements.

Key responsibilities include:

• Ensuring effective program reporting requirements and providing expert advice to Program staff to meet interests.

• Obtaining assurance that delivery of new capability is compatible with benefit realisation.

• Collaborating with the program manager to scope projects that deliver operational benefits.

• Identifying and tracking benefits and outcomes required of the program.

• Driving maximum improvements in existing and new business operations as projects deliver their products into operational use.

• Leading benefits realisation activities and measuring continued accrual after program completion.

• Establishing mechanisms for delivering and measuring benefits.

• Managing transition effectively, ensuring business as usual during transition and effective integration into business.

• Preparing affected business areas for transition to new ways of working.

• Optimising timing of project deliverables into business operations.

Essential qualifications include:

• Effective communication skills to articulate the program vision.

• Knowledge of business change techniques such as business process modelling and re-engineering.

• In-depth understanding of the business environment and direct business experience, including knowledge of organisational structures, politics, and culture.

• Experience with project scheduling tools highly desirable.

• Strong knowledge of business change techniques.
