About the Role

We are seeking an experienced estimator to join our team. As a civil and landscape estimator, you will be responsible for reviewing contract documents, developing pricing estimates, and managing tenders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review of contract documents including scope of works, specifications etc at tender stage.
  • Develop lump sum pricing / bill of quantities on a range of civil and landscape projects using first principle estimates and open market quotes from subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Risk management and safe construction techniques when developing construction methodologies and programs with construction team.
  • Manage multiple tenders at any one time.
  • Evaluate subcontractor and supplier pricing and negotiate subcontract terms and conditions.
  • Estimate and monitor the projects through the construction phase to handover.
Requirements:
  • Tertiary Education or Landscape Trade Certificate.
  • Proven track record with more than 5 years' experience in Australia.
  • Experience working on projects for and working with various private and public sector clients.
  • Ability to interpret drawings.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop effective working relationships with colleagues and clients.

Candidates must have extensive experience tendering on civil landscape projects in Australia.
