Key Job Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and maintaining the city's risk management system and business continuity framework. They will work closely with senior leaders to identify, assess and prepare for potential disruptions that could impact business operations.

  • Providing strategic advice on risk management and business continuity planning;
  • Developing and implementing initiatives to improve risk management and business continuity practices;
  • Conducting regular risk assessments and providing recommendations for improvement;
  • Maintaining effective relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth implementation of risk management and business continuity plans.
Requirements:
  • A tertiary qualification in a relevant field or extensive experience in risk management and business continuity;
  • Expertise in risk standards and assessment techniques (including ISO 31000:2018);
  • Knowledge of the Australian regulatory environment and corporate governance principles; and
  • Strong experience in risk management and business continuity planning.
