Become a vital member of our health and safety team as an Occupational Health Officer. This role plays a key part in ensuring the well-being of our staff and patients by identifying risks, developing policies, and providing training.

This position requires someone with qualifications in occupational health and safety or a related field, along with proven experience in health and safety management. You should be able to conduct workplace inspections, analyze data, and develop effective solutions to mitigate risks.

We are looking for someone with strong communication and interpersonal skills who can work effectively with staff at all levels. As an Occupational Health Officer, you will also need knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations, including WHS Acts and Regulations.

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting workplace inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and develop strategies to mitigate risks. They will also be expected to develop and implement policies and procedures related to occupational health and safety, provide training and support to staff on health and safety procedures, investigate incidents and near-misses, and collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless implementation of health and safety initiatives.
