About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Project Planner to join our team at Duratec Australia. As a key member of our east coast operations, you will play a crucial role in the successful delivery of our Defence asset upgrade projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain accurate project programs and reports to ensure timely project delivery.
  • Evaluate the impact of changes on planned work, including critical path analysis and extension of time entitlements.
  • Brief and update project teams and management on planning issues, including critical program issues and risk.
  • Assess delivery methodology and sequencing to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaborate with Estimators, Bid Coordinators, Bid Writers, and Project Managers to ensure seamless project execution.
About You
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, Microsoft Excel, and Word.
  • Experience in tender preparation, project planning, schedule development, and progress reporting for construction, civil infrastructure, and/or remediation projects.
  • Able to extract detailed information from construction drawings and SOW and construct detailed programs.
  • Ability to identify resource requirements and derive and build EOT claims.
  • Open communication style and ability to revise, forecast, and estimate project activities through effective liaison with project teams.
  • Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Construction Management, or similar.
