About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Planner to join our team at Parklife Metro. As a key member of our planning department, you will be responsible for the overall delivery of the Planning & Scheduling function for our prestigious metro rail infrastructure project in Greater Western Sydney.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain processes for program of construction programs that reflect agreed methodologies and identify key activities, milestones, and constraints.
  • Develop and maintain accurate construction, procurement and deliverables schedules based on the Work Breakdown Structure and contract requirements.
  • Ensure the processes and controls for planning are carried out in accordance with the Construction Management System and Contract requirements.
  • Contribute to the identification of, mitigation and response to project risks and opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain standards and processes to ensure that program, progress and other scheduling data is maintained up to date in P6, including EV and cost and revenue cash flow requirements.
  • Prepare staging documentation for meetings and reviews.
  • Coordinate detailed monthly reviews of the project program with delivery teams and consolidate and compile project program reports.
  • Advise Project managers in report interpretation, analysis of project performance, forward planning and development of corrective actions to maximise project delivery outcomes.
  • Support and maintain strong relationships and clear lines of communication with project teams.

Requirements

  • Tertiary qualification in an engineering discipline preferably Civil Engineering.
  • At least 5 years of experience as a planner.
  • Extensive experience on complex, high value projects within the infrastructure or rail sectors.
  • Proven competency with current industry standard planning software including Primavera P6, Asta Powerproject, Microsoft Project, TILOS etc.
