The Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bookkeeper to join our team, reporting directly to the Head of Finance. As a key member of our financial operations, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of our financial reports, accounts payable, and other related tasks.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the Head of Finance in day-to-day work
  • Overseeing a team of three offshore accountants and one virtual assistant
  • Working on Reporting Packages (weekly and monthly)
  • Accounts Payable quality control
  • BAS, IAS, and Super lodgement assistance
  • Assisting with compliance requirements
  • Contribute to accounting process and policy development
  • General Administrative Tasks

About You

To be successful in this position, you will have a minimum of 2-3 years' experience in a similar role, hold relevant bookkeeping/accounting qualifications, and possess:

  • Previous experience using XERO accounting software
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work within a team as well as unsupervised
  • Experience in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Having a keen interest in continuous improvement
  • Strong time management and organisation skills
  • Strong data entry skills with high level accuracy
  • Professional verbal and written communication skills
