Job Overview

This role is pivotal in maintaining national security programmes and related activities within the Government Security & Secrecy Office. The position entails managing DISP related artefacts, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Compliance management for SAP Australia's DISP Security Register.
  • Implementation of process improvements to meet SAP's DISP obligations in the GS2 ANZ portfolio.
  • Monitoring and interpreting policy changes to ensure compliance under the direction of Regional Manager and Director GS2.
  • Participation in global GS2 projects and tasks to guarantee SAP Australia's DISP compliance.
  • Supporting interactions between SAP's Australian businesses and regional authorities to facilitate compliance with global SAP policies.
  • Advisory services on SAP's DISP membership and obligations during customer engagements involving national security or government regulation.
  • Maintenance of stakeholder relationships to support regional regulatory obligations and commercial opportunities.
  • Facilitation and maintenance of personnel security clearances and travel security arrangements.
  • Development and maintenance of a network of contacts in relevant authorities and security organisations.
Requirements
  • Significant management experience in a security function within a government ministry/agencies, regulated industries or companies operating in a national security setting.
  • Australian citizenship is mandatory.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Personal Security Clearance issued by the Australian Government Security Vetting Agency.
  • Excellent organisational awareness, planning skills and communication skills.
  • Working knowledge and skills in MS Office products and experience in working within a large Programme/Project Support Office.
