As a senior advisor, you will be responsible for ensuring efficient, compliant, and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services while overseeing strategic sourcing, contract management, supplier performance, and procurement governance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with organisational goals and compliance requirements
  • Manage the purchase-to-pay team ensuring timely processing of orders, invoice reconciliation, and procedural compliance
  • Lead end-to-end procurement processes from sourcing through to contract execution
  • Collaborate with project engineers on scope development and refinement
  • Identify and mitigate procurement risks while maintaining probity standards
  • Coordinate tender evaluations ensuring compliance, fairness, and business alignment
  • Support commercial negotiations to achieve value-for-money outcomes
  • Provide expert guidance on contract management and performance monitoring
  • Maintain procurement templates within the business management system
  • Administer contracts database and produce procurement reports
Requirements:
  • Procurement experience in an organisation with high public accountability
  • Strong knowledge of procurement legislation, policies, and best practices
  • Extensive experience in complex operational or project environments
  • A strong analytical and problem-solving mindset
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
