Strategic Position Overview

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Advisor, Contracts and Procurement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with organisational goals and compliance requirements.
  • Manage the Purchase to Pay (P2P) team ensuring timely processing of orders, invoice reconciliation, and procedural compliance.
  • Lead end-to-end procurement processes from sourcing through to contract execution.
  • Collaborate with project engineers on scope development and refinement.
  • Identify and mitigate procurement risks while maintaining probity standards.
  • Coordinate tender evaluations ensuring compliance, fairness, and business alignment.
  • Support commercial negotiations to achieve value-for-money outcomes.
  • Provide expert guidance on contract management and performance monitoring.

Requirements:

  • Procurement experience in an organisation with high public accountability.
  • Strong knowledge of procurement legislation, policies, and best practices.
  • Extensive experience in complex operational or project environments.
