As a Senior Application Security Engineer, you'll be part of our collaborative team, working closely with engineering, product management, customer support, sales, and other functions to deliver great outcomes for our customers.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Implement and manage software composition analysis and static application security testing toolsets to identify vulnerabilities in the codebase.
  • Work with third-party vendors and the business to coordinate application security activities.
  • Collaborate with product development teams, cybersecurity, and other stakeholders.
  • Conduct sophisticated security assessments and penetration testing.
  • Create application threat models and validate that the appropriate security controls are implemented.
  • Promote continuous learning and improvement by participating in security training and ensuring best practices are followed by development teams.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a penetration tester or software engineer.
  • Hands-on development experience with Java or Python.
  • Strong understanding of web and mobile application security.
  • Knowledge of OWASP frameworks.
  • Previous experience with public cloud platforms, preferably AWS.
  • Experience with Secure Code Warrior and Secure Flag.
  • Strong communication skills to explain technical vulnerabilities to business stakeholders.
