Intensive Care Nurse Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Intensive Care Nurse to join our team in a busy level 3 ICU.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with a cohort of senior staff in a supportive environment, offering flexible rostering with 12 hour shifts and no relieving to wards.

Our ICU offers a unique blend of acute patients and services, including ECMO, in a brand new state-of-the-art hospital.

As an Intensive Care Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, working effectively as a member of a multidisciplinary team, and demonstrating excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualized patient care in accordance with established policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Monitor patient conditions and respond to changes in a timely and effective manner.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient information and treatment.
  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay up-to-date with best practices and advancements in the field.
Requirements:
  • Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • At least two years of experience in ICU nursing.
  • ALS accreditation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
