As a Senior Procurement Specialist, you will be responsible for driving strategic procurement initiatives and ensuring the efficient delivery of procurement services aligned with business priorities.

This role is critical in securing goods, services, and facilities on time, at the right quality, and at the best total cost of ownership. You will execute sourcing activities for digital and technology categories, including software, cloud services, IT infrastructure, and professional services.

  • You will partner with IT, digital, and transformation teams to align procurement strategies with business needs and technology roadmaps.
  • Applying category management principles, you will identify cost-saving opportunities, manage supplier risk, and drive value.
  • You will manage supplier relationships and contract performance to ensure service quality, innovation, and value delivery.
  • A key aspect of this role is ensuring procurement activities comply with governance, probity, and organisational policies.
  • You will also support reporting of procurement outcomes, benefits, and key performance indicators related to digital spend.
Key Skills and Qualifications
  • You must have strong experience in digital procurement, including sourcing of IT services, software, and cloud-based solutions.
  • A proven ability to partner with technology stakeholders and influence commercial outcomes is essential.
  • Skill in category management, strategic sourcing, and contract negotiation within digital domains is required.
  • You should have a strong understanding of procurement governance and risk management in complex environments.
  • Relevant qualifications in procurement, supply chain, or IT are desirable.
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in digital procurement or technology category management in large or complex organisations is necessary.
