This is a First Nations Identified Role, open only to Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander applicants.
Key Responsibilities:
- You will work closely with Indigenous Australians, supporting them with culturally safe and holistic services that help them overcome barriers and secure sustainable, ongoing employment.
- You will also build and maintain positive relationships with local employers and community groups.
- Develop tailored plans for Indigenous Australians to create successful and culturally safe pathways for employment.
- Empower Indigenous Australians by positively developing and enhancing their employability skills to find meaningful employment and provide support to employers and participants.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- You must identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander.
- You may require a current probationary or open Australian Drivers Licence and a comprehensively insured vehicle.
- Willing to complete a National Police check.
- Willing to obtain a My ID (standard level).
- Able to pass a Working with Children's check.
- Eligibility to work in Australia.
