Senior Investment Strategist

The Opportunity

This is a key role in shaping and executing the Fund's investment strategy. You will develop a deep understanding of the Fund Model, key drivers of Fund performance, and primary factors influencing returns.

You will assist the Fund Manager in preparing and implementing the Fund's investment strategy, working closely with asset managers and capital transactions to ensure alignment and execution.

  • Maintain and update the Fund Model, calculate asset and fund-level returns, and perform attribution and contribution analysis to assess performance and identify key drivers.
  • Analyse the financial and strategic impact of acquisitions, divestments, capital projects, and major lease transactions.
  • Collaborate with investor relations and marketing teams to prepare fund marketing materials.
  • Monitor key lease expiries and capital expenditure across the portfolio, ensuring risks and opportunities are identified and addressed in line with fund priorities.
About You
  • Tertiary qualifications in property, finance, or commerce; additional professional studies in related disciplines are advantageous.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience, ideally within property or finance sectors, with strong exposure to unlisted funds and financial structures.
  • Advanced financial modelling and analysis capabilities; proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong communication skills, strategic thinking, collaboration, and ability to manage competing priorities independently.
  • Detail-oriented, adaptable, intellectually curious, and able to maintain discretion while working confidently with diverse stakeholders.
