Intensive Care Medicine Postgraduate Fellowship Opportunity

This exciting opportunity is available for a Postgraduate Fellow in Intensive Care Medicine, with a focus on Echocardiography. The successful applicant will have the chance to develop their skills and expertise in this specialized field.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct echocardiography studies and provide expert medical assessment and management of patients within the department/service.
  • Pursue higher qualifications under the guidance of experienced supervisors.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Registration or eligibility for registration with the Medical Board of Australia (AHPRA).
  • Fellowship of or eligible for Fellowship of the College of Intensive Care Medicine and/or equivalent specialist recognition.
  • Experience in critical care echocardiography and basic echo competency.

Organisation and Location:

The role involves providing expert medical assessment and management of patients within the department/service. The primary location may be varied as agreed with the Director of Medical Services and as approved by MDAAC to other facilities in the health district.
